Do With Your Own Risk

Troubleshooting, fix LG G2 stuck after OTA update

it`s like we mention at install cwm recovery on LG G2, that do not  OTA update if you using custom recovery. Some user got stuck after those update. Make sure to use default recovery if you want to get OTA update.

But, if your device is already stuck maybe this can be a solution.

note: You’ll have to type that whole thing out, and be VERY careful with spaces and punctuation. One wrong letter and you could nuke your phone.

Use ADB access for fix LG G2 Stuck

in ADB, type

adb shell
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota of=/sdcard/fota-backup.img
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

it should make you able to do reboot from TWRP menu or from ADB command

Use TWRP terminal command for fix LG G2 stuck

in early TWRP build, you can not find ADB Access but you can simply use “Terminal command option”, type

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota

Download TWRP file
