Motorola FIRE XT311 first impression is far from elegant and using standard glossy black plastic material makes this phone look like a cheap phone. Motorola Fire has similar design concept with Blackberry, especially the Qwerty keyboard button similar with blackberry Bold. Unfortunately the keyboard buttons arrangement makes it difficult for fast typing.
To prevent this problem Motorola put haptic touch button at Qwerty upper area for user to access menu, home, back and search button more easier.
Operating System and Interface

Moto Switch become default user interface for Motorola device. As UI that combine with Android native UI, Moto Switch has a lot of criticism. Motorola make their homescreen different from other andoid homescreen, a special widget that allow user to categorizes based on entertain, business and other. But somehow, using Motorola UI is less convenience when compared to other UI vendor.
Using Android gingerbread Operating systems seems Motorola is to forcing this device. Motorola Fire only has 600MHz processor. This can be felt when using Moto Switch, it’s run slow and sometimes freeze.

Motorola Fire has standard camera, default features and facility. Worsen by no full screen viewfinder, no flash light and no auto focus. Camera sensor optic were good which is user can get focus even we must try harder to capture not moving object.
Video recorder features also standard. Without flash light, indoor photo result were bad. Color seems faded and less light.

Using Motorola Fire to connect internet, it’s run smooth also with broadband and Wifi connection. It also has internal GPS to support navigator features.
Stereo FM radio with RDS, Games, music player, video player, YouTube
Motorola Fire media player can integrate music player with Tune Wiki server to show the song lyric.
Community features allow your friend knows your music track. Already support MP3, WAV and eAAC+ format file. Unfortunately sound qualities were bad. Speaker quality worst, sound become flat and no balance between bass and surround. Even when using headphones. For video player, Fire support MP4, H263 and H264 format file but resolution quality were less.
Using Quandrant, Motorola Fire collect 728 score, won from HTC Desire and Nexus One.
Meanwhile using Antutu, Motorola Fire collect 1306 score won from HTC Wildfire S.
Using 1420 mAh capacity, Fire can standby for 6.5 hour in active performance. An hour for talk time, 4 hour for play audio and 2.5 hour for play video. For normal condition Fire can standby for a day.

Even has some weakness in it’s features, Motorola Fire still shown superiority with lyrics integration features in it. Unfortunately it`s not supported with good quality sound or HD quality video.
