Root your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will give a privilege to make some operating system modification in your device.
As we know, that root method has been change since Android 5.1.1 released. Now you need add a custom kernel that set in root enabled, in simple word “auto root”.

Preparation

  • Download the latest ODIN (for windows) or JODIN (cross platform) and install in PC.
  • Download auto kernel
  • Download Samsung Galaxy Note 5 USB drivers
  • Enabled Developer Option ,
    In default Developer option are hide. Go to Settings -> About Device, Tap Build number several time (usually 7 times) then an alert box will tell you that Developer Option is active. Tap to enabled it.
  • Make sure that “OEM Unlock” is ON, if your device is international model this option is not exist, it`s mean that bootloader is already unlock.

Root Samsung Galaxy Note 5

  1. Turn Off your Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  2. Press and hold Power + Center Home + Volume [-] buttons until device turn on and warning message appear in your screen
  3. Connect device to PC / laptop using micro-USB cable.
  4. Run ODIN on your PC
  5. If device connect properly, a field in top left will a blue-highlighted box.
  6. Select and click AP, then select “Auto Kernel” file
  7. Click Start Button, and wait…
  8. After “PASS” alert, your device will reboot to normal mode.
  9. Go to Google play store and search SuperSU, install and your root process is complete.

Do With Your Own Risk!!

Note
If your device does not detect by ODIN, Make sure that Samsung driver is install correctly try reconnect. If it still undetected try to change the cable.
