Rooting Eee Pad Transformer using Nacho root

  1. Go to, Menu > Settings > Application > Development
  2. Check USB Debugging (enable)
  3. Turn off splashtop
  4. Turn off asus sync
  5. Connect the device to PC/Laptop
  6. Put nachoroot and su file in SDK/android-SDK/platform-tools
  7. Open command prompt (start >run, type cmd)

    cd c:\androi-sdk
    adb devices

    if your device is not detected, try reconnect the device again

  8. next copy nachoroot to device and give permission

    adb push nachoroot.bin /data/local/
    adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/nachoroot.bin
    adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –stage1
    adb reboot

  9. Wait until asus eeepad finish rebooting

    adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –stage2
    adb reboot

  10. Wait until asus eeepad finish rebooting, then type

    adb shell id

    if shell id is 0 / root then continue, else start over

    adb remount

  11. copy su file to system

    adb push su /system/xbin/su
    adb shell chown 0.0 /system/xbin/su
    adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
    adb shell /data/local/nachoroot.bin –undo
    adb reboot

  12. Install superuser from market
  13. Done
